Party Tomorrow
By lisa on Oct 11, 2008 in Uncategorized
I have wrote in my other blogs that I finally sworn in as a US citizen last October 2nd in Arlington Convention Center. My church family who had been wanting to attend were not able to go because it was not held here in our city. It was more than 2 hours drive and my hubby and I went to spend the night at Shelly’s house in Cleburne because it’s a closer drive rather than from here in our place.
I told my church family that we will just celebrate after my oath ceremony. So tomorrow, we will have my citizenship party in our church’s dining hall right after our evening service. I made a lot of lumpia already because everybody in our church love it. Ann’s mom-in-law made a cake and she decorated it with US flags. It really looks neat! I just put it in our refrigerator and I’ll bring it to church tomorrow. Ms. Marsha will also make a cake and she said some of our church members will bring food. I’m excited for tomorrow’s celebration.

Hi sis,
regarding the putting of message box, medyo mahabang explanation, but I’ll try to give u the instructions to the best I can :).
1. On your dashboard, go to your drop down menu and select update blog.
2.Click MANAGE, then LINK CATEGORIES. Create a title for your message box.
3.Then, click LINKS, then click ADD NEW. In here, you put the URL link of your message/shout box if you have one. Kasi, di pwede ang html codes. For me I used shoutmix.net.
4.Click DESIGN. Depending on your themes, you can choose those ones na madaling lagyan ng shout box sa sidebars.
5.Click on WIDGETS. On your CURRENT WIDGETS (located on the right side) there’s a drop down menu selection which sidebar do you want to put your widget (ex.your message box). Choose the sidebar you want to put the message box and click the SHOW button beside it.
6.From the AVAILABLE WIDGETS (located on the left side) choose LINKS by clicking the ADD button beside it. Notice that the widget LINKS is moved to your CURRENT WIDGET located on the right side. Click SAVE CHANGES at the bottom.
Then, try viewing your site. Just play with it until you get the style you want.
I did trial and error, from choosing the themes and the widgets… medyo hassle nga gawin eh, pero no choice…sige, sis, paglaruan mo na muna friendster blog mo if di ka busy para di ka ma bore. hehe..that’s what I did. Maybe, if they will allow html codes sooner, mas madali na.
