Turkey and Fish

This afternoon while I was lying down and resting, Raul, one of our Filipino friends called. He asked if we already bought a turkey for Thanksgiving. I said not yet. He then said that he will give us a turkey and we have to go to their house and get it. So hubby and I drove to their house this late afternoon and got the turkey. The turkey was very big. It was more than 14 pounds in weight. Raul had won it in by playing golf. He also gave us some crappy fish that he caught in the lake. Oh my! I really like fish. I told hubby to go fishing in the lake too so we can stuck up our freezer with fish in time for the winter. So we now have our turkey for Thanksgiving Day. I told hubby that the big turkey will last us for a week, ha-ha! It was such a blessing from the Lord. He uses friends to bless us. I thank you Lord.
