Grocery Shopping…

Malou and I went to the commisary yesterday to buy some groceries. It’s good it was her off yesterday. I asked her to come and pick me up and take me to the base so I can buy my groceries there. I told her at last I got the chance to ride on her Lexus. Before we went there, we stopped by at the asian store and we bought pancit and mungo beans and I also bought coconut gel or nata de coco. Then we proceeded to the commisary. It’s a lot cheaper there than other stores but I can’t buy there without somebody to accompany me with a military ID. I used to work at the base and I can buy at the BX because I have an AAFES ID but not in the commisary. Most of the things I bought were meat, vegetables, fruits, canned goods, baking cups and some other stuffs. I bought our groceries for 2 weeks which is until the next payday comes. Then Malou had to take me back home and told me to just ask her next time to take me to the commisary again. Last time it was Arlene who took me and George to the commisary. It’s good to have friends whom I can rely on when I need them and I consider them blessings from the Lord.
