A Day With Friends

My hubby and I just got home from James’ house who invited us for supper. I have this weird feeling in me going there without Sofia and their kids. I really miss them a lot and it’s been more than a month since they left for South Carolina and they decided to enroll their kids there because according to them they have better christian schools there. My husband and I are really fond of that family and it made us sad when they left. James is staying here because of his work and he will just go and visit them on Christmas. My husband and I have been talking to each other and he told me that husband and wife should be together as a family and I told him too that I can’t stand to be away from him for a long period of time. People have different point of view in life but hubby and I still think and believe that a family should be together no matter what. He said that’s the reason why he quit his job and went in the Philippines to be with me while I was waiting for my visa to be processed at that time because he missed me so much and wanted to be with me. Anyways, we had a good meal tonight at James’ house. He prepared pizza, potato salad and pot pies. I brought there banana nut muffins and lumpia. Last weekend we invited James in our house for dinner. Hubby is very fond of him and he is like a family to us. By the way, prior to going to James’ house I attended the baby shower of Joan and everything went well and we had a good time there.
