I Got Mail!
By lisa on Jan 13, 2007 in Uncategorized
I got my greencard today in the mail. I didn’t expect it to be that quick since the immigration officer told me that it will take from 3 to 6 months before they will send it to me. I’m glad that I got it now, it’s good for 10 years. I thank the Lord for all the things He has done and He deserve all the praise and glory.

Thanks Charmaine. I hope and pray that yours will be approved quicker when you will file for your removal of conditional status. It took more than 6 months before mine has been approved. I don’t know why it took so long. But I’m glad I got my permanent resident card now.

Just be patient guys, you will get your greencard in due time. Maybe there are a lot of people out there who applied for a greencard that’s why it take them long to process or maybe they are just taking their time. If you want you may call your congressman to follow-up for you. I did that too and it helped.

We had our interview, 2nd time though, for my Permanent Greencard last January 11th. I was told to receive in the mail 3 to 6 months too. My first one came just days after our interview. It not really a big worry the second time around. Congratulations
